Pricing

• Our puppies are $2,000.00 regardless of gender, color, or markings. All puppies go home with a spay/neuter agreement and a one-year health guarantee. 

• To reserve a puppy, a $300 non-refundable deposit, which goes toward the total purchase price. Deposits can be made through Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle and are accepted once the puppies are born.

• Deposits are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to a future litter one time. Because we have only one litter per year, we encourage families to be mindful of timing when placing a deposit. After one transfer, the deposit will be forfeited.

• Please take some time to consider whether you’re ready for the time, attention, and financial commitment that comes with adding a puppy to your family before placing a deposit. 

• The remaining balance is due in full when you pick up your puppy. We accept cash, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, or debit/credit card through Square. A 3% processing fee will be added to payments made by debit or credit card. 

• If you’re unable to pick up your puppy on the scheduled date, we can provide boarding for an additional $25 per day. 

PICKING ORDER/GOTCHA DAY

• Picking order is based on the order in which deposits are received. Families make their selection in picking order from the puppies available at the time of their appointment. 

• When placing a deposit, families are welcome to share their preferred gender. This helps us understand what each family is hoping for, but preferred gender is not guaranteed. If you’re undecided, that’s perfectly okay too. 

• If a family chooses to transfer their deposit to a future litter, their spot will be removed from the current picking order, and the remaining families will move up accordingly. Families will be notified if their picking position changes. 

• Puppies go home at 8 weeks old, after being vet-checked and receiving their age-appropriate vaccinations. Each puppy will also go home with a goody bag and lifetime support from us.

• Once the puppies are 8 weeks old, we’ll coordinate Gotcha Day and schedule families in picking order. During your appointment, you’ll have the opportunity to visit, spend time with the puppies, make your selection, and take your puppy home the same day.

• If you’re unable to attend your scheduled appointment in person, we’re happy to help you choose your puppy through a video call.

• While we can share our best expectations based on the parents and the puppy’s development, we cannot guarantee adult size, coat type, or color. A puppy’s color and coat can change as they grow and their baby coat begins to shed.

• Once the puppies are 6 weeks old, we’ll schedule a designated Meet the Puppies/Visit Day weekend. Families who have placed a deposit will be able to visit by appointment, meet the puppies, and spend some time interacting with them. 

• You’re welcome to bring members of your household to your visit. However, we ask that you please leave all pets at home. This is to help protect the health and safety of our puppies and the other pets in our home. 

• To help keep our puppies healthy and safe, we kindly ask all visitors to remove their shoes and wash their hands when they arrive. 

• If you’re interested in one of our Doodles but aren’t ready to commit to a puppy yet, we’re happy to offer video calls so you can meet the puppies and learn more about our process from the comfort of your home.

Bringing a puppy home is an exciting process, and we want to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible. Here’s what you can expect from the time you first reach out to us until your puppy comes home:

1. Get to know us.
Take some time to explore our website and learn more about our puppies, pricing, and process. If you have any questions, reach out to us anytime. We’d love to get to know you, learn more about your family and home, and hear what you’re looking for in a puppy. We’re available by phone, email, or video call.

2. Reserve your spot.
Once you’re ready to move forward, you can submit the $300 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot in the litter. Picking order is based on the order in which deposits are received. When placing your deposit, you’re also welcome to share your preferred gender.  

3. Complete your paperwork.
Once we’ve confirmed your deposit, you can review our Sales Contract/Health Guarantee and choose how you’d like to complete it. You can submit the Electronic Sales Contract/Health Guarantee online, or sign the PDF version. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to wet-sign the contract in person on Gotcha Day.

4. Follow along as the puppies grow.
We share photos and updates on our social media at least three times a week, so you can watch the puppies grow and see their personalities develop. About two weeks before the puppies turn 6 weeks old, families who have placed a deposit will receive an email with information about our Meet the Puppies/Visit Day. Visit appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. 

5. Meet the puppies!
Our Meet the Puppies/Visit Day takes place over a designated weekend when the puppies are around 6 weeks old. Families who have placed a deposit can schedule an appointment to meet and interact with the puppies, spend time with them, and get to know their different personalities and temperaments. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about caring for and preparing for your new puppy. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, with 45-minute appointments available. If you’re unable to attend in person, we’re happy to arrange a virtual visit instead. 

6. Prepare for Gotcha Day
When you place your deposit, we’ll provide your scheduled Gotcha Day date and appointment time based on your picking order. Gotcha Day is held on a Saturday, with appointments scheduled in picking order. Approximately two weeks before Gotcha Day, we’ll send a reminder email with your appointment details and everything you need to know to prepare for bringing your puppy home.  

7. Bring your puppy home!
Once the puppies reach 8 weeks old, it’s time for Gotcha Day! You’ll meet with us at your scheduled appointment, make your selection from the puppies available at your time, pay your remaining balance, and take your new puppy home. Each puppy will go home with their health records, a goody bag, and a welcome packet filled with helpful information and resources for caring for your new puppy. 

8. Stay connected.
You’ll be invited to our private Facebook group, where you can connect with other Big Red Paw Doodles families and share photos and updates. Not a Facebook fan? No problem! Use #bigredpawdoodles or tag us on Instagram; we’d love to watch your Doodle grow!
